The company’s business process of contract farming, crop procurement and technical support to farmers has been digitalized by Grenud through platform development and integration with various third-party systems.

Challenges –

  • Salesforce Service Cloud is new for the client, so it is very difficult to explain to the client
  • Field Users were using hard copies to record investigative data during client visits
  • Customers use Excel Sheets to keep records files of field visits, service complaints and field development which is prone to error and lacks standardization
  • The customer ERP system is not cloud-based thus procurement payment details were forwarded manually to the accounts department which was an inefficient method with error possibilities.
  • Thus the biggest challenge for the project was not only to automate the Field Force Management system but also to create an adaptable ecosystem within the organization for digitalization.

Field Force Digitalization

  • Replaced hard copies by using a third-party application suggested and modified through our consultancy.
  • Real-time field officer’s location monitoring.
  • Customizable tasks, Visit record digital form and Geotagging were introduced.

Integration

  • Field Force Management application was integrated through rest API method with Sales/Service Cloud of organization.
